changed my oil sending unit, but still tons of oil leaking from that area...HELP

I changed my sending unit and my oil and filter yesterday but when I got to work this morning I'm still leaking bad, the highest point I'm finding the oil is around the power steering pump, and all over the hose that leads up to the resivoir...its not the power steering fluid leaking tho, I'm sure its oil. There is no oil around my new sending unit or my main seal or dripping off my pan, it all seems to be comming from the power steering pump and running down to all my susp. Parts...what could it be, is there anything else that oil runs thru in that area? Please help, this is ganna ruin my weekend...

Thanks everyone.

Are you 100% sure it is oil, I mean 100%? How much oil is your car using?

If it is oil it could be leaking form the timing chain cover, otherwise my guess is that it is a power steering line.

I'm 100% it is oil, my power steering fluid hasn't moved but my oils goin fast, I just changed it yesterday and its leaking fresh new oil now. I was thinking maybe its leaking from the back of my oil pan and hitting my axle and flying all over... I really hope its not the timing cover...I'm gonna take it to the shop my buddy works at tomorrow to get some professional opinions and go from there I guess, if anyone else has an idea let me know please. Thanks.

does the oil look like its dripping and seeping, or does it look like its been sprayed all over the place? If the latter, you may possibly have double gasketed the oil filter. About how long after (changing oil/sending unit) did you notice the oil getting everywhere? Instantly, or did it take awhile?

Wes may be right though, it could be a PS line. I think your best bet would be to take it to your buddies (assuming he's a good friend) shop and let him have a looksie. just my two or three cents

front timing cover seal is the problem. Mine did the samething on my old
97 GXE. replaced the seal and it stoped. later the rear main seal went bad.
the car had over 250k on it so it was about time for it to become a leaker. hahaha.

It actually started b4 I changed the unit and oil, that's why I put a new sending unit in in the first place. But it looks like is seaping mostly and spraying a lil bit but I just looked at it again when I got home...looks like its coming from under or around my oil filter, but what are the odds the filter would be on wrong twice...who knows. Ill take it to the shop tomorrow, brent doesn't own the place but he works there and we been best friends for about 7 years, he is gonna look at it with his trusted colueges...anyone know how much it would cost to fix a timing cover leak? OUCH!

If it's timing cover seal, jackup rightfront, take wheel off remove inside liner loosen belts remove pully from harmonic balancer use a puller to remove balancer, pop out old seal gentle pop in new seal, put everything back in reverse order....

I thought that was the way to replace the front main seal? I thought u have to removr your valve cover and all ur pulleys and junk to do the timing cover gasket.
