GA16 with SR20 gearbox
Hi guys...
I was just wondering... Is It possible to fit an SR20 gearbox in a GA16?

You would need to fabricate an adaptor plate because the bolts are in different places, and the starter may not align correctly.

would an sr20 gear box be any better than ga16 gearbox? Considering that the sr20 is a more torquier motor I'd think the gear ratio's would hamper the little ga16. I'm have no facts to back it up but that's what I'm think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

the GA16 gearbox is designed for the GA powerband. the SR is not.

you might want to compare the gearing, too. Use an FSM
