KA16DE & GA16DE

someone has asked me about the KA16DE, and i haven't even heard of it. anyone ever have? and if someone has, can you spread some information about it? Thanks.

I never heard of a ka16de..Mayb they ment the ka24de. Which comes in 93-97 altima's and 91-94 240sx

Don't think there is a KA16DE. You might be thinking of a KA24DE, which comes stock in the 240sx/Altima, or the KA24E which came stock in the King Cab.

What do you need to know about these engines? The difference between the 2 is that the KA24E is a SOHC engine, whereas the KA24DE is a DOHC engine. The KA24DE is more powerful.

actually, s13's had the ka24e, s14's had the ka24de up till 97. the frontier trucks also were equipped with ka24's. altimas had the ka24 too

no such thing as a KA16
