I wasnt sure where to post this, but from what i gathered this seemed the best place..
I have a 95 Nissan Sentra XE 1.6L (only thing that came with the XE??) and i have to say i was a little disappointed with its perfromance. After learning to drive on a Mustang and Camaro i found myself wanting when i got a Sentra as my first car. I realised i needed an upgrade when my mom beat me off the light in her mini-van. I find it ironic that i have the slowest car in the house and i like to drive the fastest (part of the reason i got a 4-cyl). I have had it for a while and i am looking to upgrade it. I dont want anything to great out of it just something i can beat my friends in when i pull up next to them at a light on my way to school. The only thing is being a full time student i dont have a lot of cash to spend. Hopefully within the next week i will be working a part time job as well but thats beside the point.
I am looking for some parts that will give me a little bit of an edge without having to sell body parts. Can you help me?
buy an intake, HS header, and make a custom mandrel bent 2" exhaust in your driveway (if you have a welder) and call it a day.....:dunno:

Liuspeed says his 1.6 is pretty fun to drive, so you might ask him what all he's done.
my stock GA16 is a blast to drive....but then again its in a 2200 pound stock sentra

Have to admit, I am very impressed on how well the 1.6 responded to something as
simple as a bump up in timing and being staunch 5.0 driver, this little 1.6 has gotten
me to peek over on the other side of the fence. Think I feel a (Nissan) fever coming
about..lol.
i got a 1.6..i put in a centerforce clutch,advanced timing,cai,2inch mandrel bend catback, agx struts and tein springs and im very happy with it now..but im still upgrading
