All, This maybe a dumb question, but I have never changed my own O2 sensor .... all kidding aside, is there a special tool to remove it ? The exhaust manifold heat shield is right there, and I cannot get a std wrench in there ...

Do they make a deep wall socket that works for this, is is there something special for this ?

Indeed they do! You should be able to borrow one from Autozone, or even just buy one as they don't cost about (about $5-$10 last I checked).

All it is is just a very deep socket with a slot along the side for the wires.
