Question Fuel Pump

My fuel pump is going out and Im shopping for a new one. I saw this fuel pump on ebay (WALBRO 255 FUEL PUMP NISSAN SENTRA 91-94 ALL MODELS) and i was wondering if any one knew what is the difference between buying this one or the OEM one. Is there a PSI difference and is it a easy plug in swap.

I have read that not all aftermarket fuel pumps are the same. Some aftermarket fuel pumps list one pump for a lot of applications, and it is hit and miss as far as truly meeting OEM specs. How much is this fuel pump on ebay? If mine goes, my first choice would be an OEM one. I really don't know the difference of the pump you mentioned compared to OEM. Maybe a search on the internet could give you some PSI specs to compare to the OEM pump?

The Walbro 255 pump is much higher volume than the stock pump and is physically larger. It needs an installation kit to work properly.

There are two versions a low pressure and a high pressure. The high pressure pump will not work with the stock fuel pressure regulator.

You can see the Walbro 255 which I installed in my B14 here.

Thanks

There are two 255 pumps, high and low pressure. The 180 would be more suitable for your application. And, yes you need the installation kit. The Walbro is a universal pump.
