ECU questions

i have an obd 1 on my car year is 95.

my friend aznvirus gave me 2 ecu i believe are from the 96 97 manual and one auto .

i know that the 97 + are obd 2 but what difference will it make when i get it tuned by JWT if i originally have obd 1 and jwt tuned is obd 2 ?

please help

liu, all b14 are obdII, so you shouldn't have to worry because they are able to reprogram any of those ecu's

really cuz i think mine is obd 1 since the guy @ one of the autzones said that they cant check my CEL cuz they only have OBD 2

i got a odbII n it works on my brothers 95 altima..i beleave they work from some 94+..but mostly 95+

liu, thats why if you go to the jwt website, it list 95+ for obdII ecu that they can use
