hector. alll aftermarket parts are off road use only... nismo1997, you cat is very high flow already, you might gain 1hp if you go with a high flow cat, but if you do, go with the random tech cat off the project 200sx 1.6T, you can PM jen@performance, its like 200... and obx is crap

a gain of 10 hp is barely percetible. 1 hp is like you threw out all the trash in your car. you may gain flow but for you there are more restricting things than the cat in your car.

i just installed my "high flow cat" because of the CEL and the annoying buzzing sound, well like a Honda from Pepboys or Autozone.

well if you are geting a high flow exhaust, why not get the cat with it 2? it wont hurt you. maybe it will be noticed on a dyno after a few other mods.

either way, there is other stuff you can spend your more on that will get more power, for 200, get an underdrive pulley from UR.. but if you are set on high flow cats, get the random tech one

if you look at a high quality hi flow cat and compare the guts to the OEM one its practically the same. the hi flow one may have less dense holes but not that much... so meaning you don't need to test it.

on a turbo engine removing or changing to a hi flow cat would make more sense.
