Question Torque Converter

Can someone please tell me where it is, and how to get to it? Any help will be appreciated. I figure, if I plan to do the mod, I gotta know how to find it.

Your gonna need a transmission lift to get to the converter because you'll need to take the transmission out completely. This was way out of my league so i had to get a shop to do this for me and it was pretty expensive considering it was just labor, the shop i went to charged me $300. Eric and his buddy changed his torque converter by themselves so you might wanna ask him if you wanna do it yourself. Good luck.

Andre, did you try www.car-parts.com ? Local junk yards? AdvancedAuto Parts might sell them rebuilded. In worst case, send yours out. Shouldn't take Level 10 more then a week...

That site found 2...but from a 95 and 96. the 95 one costs $75 in North Carolina.
Serge, I will have a few days when my mother will be away, but I wont have the money at that time, and Jay said the transmission will have to be removed...I wish it was easier. I'll just still try to find a used one. ....or maybe ask people who did tranny swaps....hmmmm....
