Jdm Ga16de Turbo?
i was looking for some opinions on a jdm ga turbo cause my ga motor just locked up on me. Im thinking that a
ported,clipped, and swain coated t28
550cc injectors
water injection
FMIC
Larger IC piping
HKS SSQ BOV
Cobra MAF
upgraded wastegate
3 inch exhaust
hi flow cat
upgraded headgasket (if they make one)
jwt ecu or greddy emanage
would think that would produce at least 290 whp at like 15-17 psi
i mean i know there is only one way to find out and try it but just needed some input.
o yeah and maybe a jdm ga lsd tranny.......but it had shorter gears no top end ....?

The JDM GA is the same engine as the USDM one without some of the emissions equipment. You'll get the exact same power at 14.5 PSI... you will not be able to go beyond that because it is not the engine that is limiting the power it is the injectors and the MAF...

you can use the emanage. if you can do it, do it. but there is still no major difference in the jdm engine so don't waste your money there.

I don't know of anyone that makes or uses copper head gaskets.
the JDM tranny has better ratios for turbo, i think it came on some of the old NX1600's as well.
