oh man I ran into the same problem the other day to install my header.I gave up and bought a new one I figured the other looked real bad anyhow.I was wondering if taking a torch to it would harm it?

Here at the university one of the physical plant guys said his old trick is to tap a bolt with a hammer before you ever start in with a wrench. Kind of like banging the jar of pickles on the counter. This is a sensor so be very gentle but if it can survive the daily life of being in a car it should be able to take a few knocks from a hammer.
well, the nice guys at AutoZone let me rent a tool called the "Oxygen Sensor Removal Tool". and wow does it work, just a little miscle, a lot actually, and it cums right off. definatly worth the refundable $15.

ok, new problem, i got the sensor out, but also took the seat for it. the sensor screws into a seat and the seat screws into the headers. now i cant get the seat and the sensor apart. HELP!!!
or, if there is a part number for that seat, i would rather buy a new seat than use the old one.
