Help: Engine Noise
i have 2 strange noises coming from the car.
1) while my engine is running, sometimes there will be a loud ass whirrrrring coming from the engine, lasts for roughly 15 seconds, and goes off. it sounds like a fan from the vent of a building or something. it happens while in park, and maybe driving too but i'm not sure. it doesnt fade away, it cuts off.
2) at the back of my car, around the rear driver side wheel/transmission, sometimes there would be a buzzing/vibrating sound coming from this area. it lasts for around 5-10 seconds. it happens both while the engine is on and off. usually the slam of a door will trigger the noise. it doesnt fade away, it cuts off. the vibration is enough for me to feel it when i'm in the driver seat and the car is off.
what could these noises be?
