Question Jwt Ecu ?

As you will see from my post, I have the following mods.....
My question is this: I got my JWT ECU before I got their cams, so I am wondering if the ECU is programmed for the stage 1 cams upgrade?
Oh, and since I have gotten my JWT ECU and cams, my car revs till about 7800RPM as my 1993 NX1600 digital, knight rider style, tach tells me. I suspect it is not precise....anyways, about the ECU, does anybody know?

You have to ask for the cam upgrade, JWT lists what the programmed for on the ECU label. You are asking if it has it and then you say you have it, I am confused....

Well I have the ECU upgrade and thier cams. When I ordered the ECU I told them what I had on my car at the moment and that I planned to order their cams very shortly so I guess it must be ok. Its just because I read something on your web page in the performance section.... that made me question myself

I assume that you got the SE-R ECU to reprogram. Did you opt for the VTC operation board that JWT installs to run it. SE-R's did not have the VTC. Addtional cost however. If you get the cams, the VTC will not engage the cams to the fullest extent without the program.

How much did you pay for yours?

Are you telling me that if I did not get the VTC add on module, the cams will not be working to their fullest potential?????

Yes, it is a 1993 NX2000 ECU that I bought used and then sent to JWT. When they asked if I wanted the VTC add-on module, I asked them what that would do and they told that with the add-on, the only difference is that much of the low end power of the stock configuration would not be lost. For 230$ U.S. I didnt opt for it.

By the way, my JWT reprogrammed ECU ended up costing me $1300 canadian when everything is taken into consideration, very pricey....

I sware that in the same conversasion, I aske them about the VTC and I mentionned that I WOULD BE GETTING THEIR CAMS SHORTLY AFTER. If what you are saying is true, I am not really happy.

I ordered my ECU on june 14 of last year (that is the date when JWT received my ECU) and I got it on AUGUST 19, whereas the mentionned that the turnover was 4 to 5 weeks

Again pull out your ECU and see what mods they have listed on the sticker, that is a good indicator of what they programmed it for.
