Exclamation New custom Intake (pics soon) Got some ?s

My pics will be up soon, so far I've basically just made a "pop-charger" (i.e. air box gone, just rubber tubbing to filter, K&N style) My father works at an aluminum tubing factory and is goin to hook me up with some mandrel bent CAI tubing and i was going to order the silicone rings from a website i know selling them. I was wondering about the two tubes connecting to the intake(forgot what they're called, EGR? & something?) Could I put breather filters on the tubes and make construction of the CAI tubing simpler, or will i have to weld on two tubes to connect them to(the liitle rubber ones). Anyways thanks for the help and im sure the pics will help, they should be up tonight.
Forgive me for the lay-man style wording and suggestions would be helpful.

I have every thing you need to know about making your own cai on one of my web pages. Just click the link below. Tutorial on how to custom fabricate your own cold air intake.

When you put on a short ram air intake, you can usually feel a difference when you take off but up at higher speeds you can really hear it work. It sounds great and usually adds no more than 15hp.

right now i have my air box removed and replaced with a cone air filter, i was thinkin about removing the filter and replacing with like ABS tubing (connected to the o2 sensor by one of those big rubber connectors) and running it down into the fender well with the air filter on the end of that......would that work...i mean i guess my question is, i notice most peoples are AL bent piping and stuff, but would plastic work?

Yes, plastic works nicely (black ABS tubing to be exact) and the nice thing about it, is that as the engine heats up....ABS doesnt...aluminum does.
