I am hoping its not too severe and was also wondering if i could just pull out the wiring harness and replace it. Also everything that runs off the battery is fine, its just nothing involving the engine will work. The plug thing at the end of the loose harness is melted! Please help!!!!!!!!!!Also i noticed Matrix021 had the same problem. Did he ever get the problem fixed? If so how did you do it?

WOW... I'm not the only one... I was about to ask you if it's the same prob I had, then you mentioned me... so to give you an update, the car is in the shop... I took it to an auto electric place, not just some regular mechanic... I haven't talked to the lead electrician yet, but I did talk to the front desk person. So far, the wire needs to be repaired and I believe that thing on the end (apparently some sort of diode) needs to be replaced. I don't have the costs yet. And I don't have a reason yet. The guy will get off lunch soon... as soon as I know, I'll give you all the nasty details...
