It's a fantastic find and I'd love to spend some time talking to the guys at Mather Motorsport team about their project. Seeing how far they took an all motor ga16, I'm dying to see what they could do with a ga16det!
I will hopefully have a couple of articles to write on this once my friends GA16DE adds the "T" in a couple of weeks, he's just waiting for an intercooler to arrive to have all the parts. he managed to get all GReddy componants for the management and rather than upgrading his injectors, he's using an extra computer to manage a fifth injector (from a 300zx) mounted in the top of the intake manifold to keep up the fuel flow rate once he hits high boost. He's only starting off with a former SAAB turbo, a GT17 so that it'll spool up very quickly. Just being a GT17 doesnt limit its output that far, and he's hoping to have close to or more than project 200sx power figures straight out of the workshop.
Anyway, that write up is hopefully happening just a week after his intercooler arrives, and with some luck, that will be by late this month. (shipping out of an asian country that has both SARS and AVIAN FLU fears really takes a long time due to our strict quarantine regulations)
cheers
