Question CEL p0130 02 sensor (bank 1 sensor 1)

I bought a actron code scanner that is for OBD 2.

The check engine light on a 96 200sx has the check engine light on.

p0130 O2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 1) <-- that is what the scanner is telling me.

Is the best guess that the sensor in front of the Cat is bad? I.E. the sensor in the exhaust manifold.

TIA!

P0130 is telling you that the circuit is in a closed loop, meaning that the sensor is probably having an up-stream malfunction. Try wiggling the wires to make sure that the connector isn't just loose, make sure there is no corrosion on the connector, and if everything else is in order, it's probably a bad sensor.
