injector and rail question

will SE-R injectors work in 92 GA16DE? or are these the same? I imagine these are higher volume injectors, what 'mod' would i need to gain any benefit? thanks

Over 241,000 miles! Replaced failed fuel pump and struts at around the 200K mark. Just replaced original clutch and rear main seal.

the injectors will fit on your car, but since they are bigger you will run a little rich and your ecu may never fully adapt to the bigger injectors.. its kinda pointless unless you run turbo.. no gain but dumpin excess fuel which will hurt gas mileage and burn your plugs faster with detonation

detonation? I thought if you run rich, you gum up your injectors, burn cooler, and kill your gas mileage. I thought running lean causes detonation. But it is true, you will cut the life of your spark plugs, unless you go turbo.

well bugger and i happened across a good deal too.. oh well it wasn't meant to be.

Thanks for your input about the F.I.s

What's funny is I had a finely tuned engine..read these posts and followed some of the cleaning tips. ie the metal tube running from EGR to BPT; even to the point of removing throttle body and cleaning all carbon..i was amazed at the buildup at that..

doggon near every tube or vent was clogged with little more than a small hole left..so now i have to retune the sucker .. BUT the idle is smoother
