is it possible to add a sport shifter to a 97 sentra.... model gxe.. 1.6 auto.... how hard is it to do.... and if anyone has a link about it.... did a few searches but found nothing on it....

umm.... Why would you wanna put a sport shifter on an Automatic? I don't even think its possible. The reason for sport shifters is to help when manual shifting, making the throw shorter when going from gear to gear.

are you talkin something like a racket shifter, i know my friends dad has one on his mustang.. but there is no sport shifter for the ga16, it would have to be a custom thing which means mad money.. i know they make like a stage 10 auto tranny, but i dont know what else

98200sxse. i think ur mixing it up.. what ur talking about is a short SHifter. or a short thrower'... what he is asking is a Sport Shifter. what the luxury auto's have. u can see it in mini acura's... or the prelude type SS [SportShift] it doesnt go straight down. it goes. down then over the the left then dont then left then down then left... but i also dont think there is one for the ga16. like psulemon sed. ...... but anything's possible. it just cost big buk$$$!!

ahhh ok.. yeah i was thinkin SHORT shifter, but yeah i know whatya mean now.... like an automatic that you can still shift it kinda like a B&M slap shifter, there usually for drag racing though, but yeah alot of high end luxary cars have them.... my bad...
