arrrgh, o2 sensor bung or no o2 sensor bung...thats the question

man i hate to post this, but ive searched and searched, but to no avail. i found 2 old stromung group buys and there were some people with the same confusion, but all of those people had sentras. i thought i was on the right track, but then ive heard that the sentra's and 200's were different, yada yada yada. this is so damn confusing...and im at a loss. i just need a clear cut answer/explanation.

theres a shot of my header...no close-coupled cat, so obviously i have one under the car. i think i have 2 o2 sensors...the one you see there, and one after the cat and i dunno if i have a resonator or not.

now when i get the stromung exhaust, will i need the o2 bung or not...i would like to get the resonator anyway, because i might get an n1 muffler (i have a question about that too), but do i need the o2 bung or not. i'll also get the hotshot later down the road too, i read in a thread that that makes a difference too, but im still confused.

now about the n1 muffler...well b4 i get that muffler, i wanna keep the muffler i have now (which is welded on) because i like its sound. now will i have to cut off the flange for the stromung muffler in order to re-weld my current muffler on it, or how does that work.

hopefully my confusion will cease, because its giving me a headache

thank you in advance

If you are getting the HS header here is the exh set-up you will need.

1. HS Header, with O2 bung(they have them from the factory).
2. Cat, the stock Nissan one works great.
3. Stromung cat-back with O2 bung.

About the N1, Im not quite understanding your question. Try again

the muffler has a flange on it...the n1 doesnt...but i was talking to liu and he said that the muffler shop would figure it out...so im not worried about that

since nissan cats are good, would getting a random tech cat be pointless?

If your cat is in good shape and working fine it would be pointless to get a Random one.

Liu is right, a shop will be able to hook you up.

kinda hard to see the manifold with the heat shield still in place in that picture.....

Don't cut the flange off the Stromung piping, add a flange to the current muffler...

I tried to email Stromung about how much a midpipe would cost with resonator and o2 bung, but that email is not the right one apparently. Anyone know? I have a CA model GA16DE.
