If you've got an 89 GA16 which is already carb'd, going EFI is too expensive for the power... go for dual webber 40 carbs... but be warned, it's a long and arduous process of tweaking until you can get the most power out of them... but they're still spot on for Bang-for-the-Buck.

If it's a DE it already has MPFI, there's no reason to revert back to a carb. Stick with what works (and works really well). Don't trade a few wires for decreased cold weather performance, mileage, driveability, etc...

ok guys thanks but let me clarify a few things.
my car is an 89 mexican pulsar wich came with an e-13 , i've been swaping until i found a ga16de and i wanted to install it so bad that i took out the inj. system and put in a holley carb in because my car didn't have all the wires and ecu . so my question is , is it worth going inj. or should i stick to the carb and try installing a dual one , the point is i need to send them hondas to their mamas
and money isn't a big issue, tough i would like to keep that old car

Do you actually have the GA16DE running with a carb currently? I wasn't clear on whether you'd actually completed that conversion.

What are you doing about ignition - is the stock ECU still controlling that? If so, is it advancing it properly without going into any kind of limp mode without some of the original inputs (what sensors did you remove during the conversion?)?

i just installed a distributor from a ga16ds and that's it the little solenoid on the right side on the valve cover is pluged to a switch because i haven't figured out the use yet.
i didn't find the engine with any wires or ecu even the distrib. was broken from shipping so i had to make my head work . any suggestions?

That actually sounds like a pretty good solution. The DS distributor is vacuum/mechanical advance?

If it works and the driveability is good and emissions inspections aren't an issue, I don't see a huge advantage in going the other way. EFI is nice, but if what you've got does the job...
