oh yea i called them about 6 months ago and asked about how long the wait is to reprogram my ga16de ecu...they said they can do it overnight....i have seen more people saying that it takes weeks....does anyone know for sure how long a standard ecu reprogram takes, and would it be a good idea to get a junkyard's ecu for my car and use that while my ecu is at jwt? thanks

the jwt cams go for 560 and the ecu is 600, but it depends.. my friend just had his reprogrammed in 1 week and he just got it back but that was for an altima... u can prolly start up a gb.. i know they just had one and for 10 people it was like 495+ shipping.. i know im gonna start one up at the beggining of the summer and see if i can integrate botht he ga and sr cams to get a better price and more people...

yea i called them today they said $520 for the cams and $495 for the ecu.... i forgot to ask about the gb though...my bad...and he said that the cams add about 8 whp...bc in npm it says that they added 42 whp at 7300rpm...he said he saw that too and it was wrong...anyways, he said the ecu takes 4-6 weks! so ill go to a junkyeard and get an ecu and ill keep that one and send them mine....

no its not wrong... the sales guy you talked to isn't up on the GA16... it makes 42 extra hp with the combination of the ECU because the rev limiter is higher...so where you had no power before you now have power....this has been explained numerious times.... of course they don't make 42 hp across the entire power band....With ECU alone there are gains above the stock rev cut off but not as pronouced as with the cams...
Look at the below dyno chart...notice the drop off of the stock (dark blue) hp at about 6700rpm.... now look at the same area on the yellow line.... see the difference...now follow those lines...and imagine the blue line continues to drop power where as the yellow continues at an even pace all the way to 7300rpms.... So its actually a lot more than 42 hp...
