another turbo ga16 question

ok...i plan on turboing my ga16, and i was wondering:
1) can a apexi safc take the place of a jwt ecu....in order to save money....of course
2) since i have a maf sensor, do i HAVE to get a recirculatiung bov?
3) is 2.5, 2.75, or 3" exhaust recommended for a t3 turbo on a ga16?
thanks...let me know please....

1. yup.
2. Your car will stall out at idle if you don't and generally act weird.
3. 3 all the way.

no then you factor in hours of tuning time with the AFC... that could be a few hundred. and you need larger injectors too.

add 300 in to your final price for just in case stuff... oh you need all the oil lines and fittings, silicone couplers (you do not want to use rubber) so that is another 250 on top of that... so add 550 to your total price and that should be close to what you're paying...

injectors...

theres always something more thats needed. i say... dont ever give yourself a "final quote" and depend on that quote, otherwise things might arise and bite you in the ass.

how many lbs of boost do you plan to run? above 9, i believe, is when the stock MAF starts to max out; or can the S-AFC take care of this? havent used one before so thats why im pointing it out.

oh ya, dont forget all those misc things like gaskets, bolts, etc. fitting and S.S. line can really add up in price

370cc injectors or BB "bluebird" injectors swap in and will take care of that. I dont believe you HAVE to upgrade your fuel pump but if you want you can for a little extra piece of mind.

Question though, why are you running a T3 turbo?? Personally i would run a T25 or T28 assuming youre running boost below the 9si MAF limit.

im gettin a reaslly good price for a brand new t3, and i plan on running 7psi on a stock ga16...im not ever going to go over 9....so i dont think the maf sensor should be a problem, and if i ever decide to go higher, ill simply sell this one for the money that a t28 costs....
