GA16 turbo kit found

Hey guys TOOLAPCFAN sent me this link.
In my search for aftermarket parts for my truck I noticed this. Thought I would just pass it on.

Wow, after looking at that, its very very very tempting at those prices. Still think i'll wait a while and see if HOT SHOT reduces there prices for the GA16.

the only prob is if you ever plan on going above 9lbs of boost, the t20 wont cut it. i emailed them and they said for a price, one could get the turbo and manifold unpgraded on the 1.6L kit.... and neither come with an ecu, so thats another $400-600. at first glance it seems great, but upon further inspection, its not the awesome deal we all thought.....

it counts... you don't really ever BUY an ECU when you turbo... but whichever kit you buy, it's still best to get an extra one for the programming....

not having the re-programming in the other kit means you'll be spending 400$ more... but then, you can get away without the re-programming at low boost.

okay, now that i've looked that one over... i'd say:

DUBIOUS... who the hell are they kidding? all the fucking links lead back to the same page!!!

the moment an unspecified turbo kit gives me a total of 300++ whp on my GA16 without re-programming or blowing up and without me changing anything on the car, i'll eat my shoes... what a fucking wild claim!!! no research, no references, and... whoops, no parts list?

if i were rich enough, i'd pay just to find out how on-the-level it is.

KATANA200sx--->http://hotshotperformance.com/turbo/200sx.htm

check it out.....last line, hot shot DOES come with reprogrammed ecu.....ou can get away w/o it on low boost, but to save $400, one would be shorting themselves on the turbo kit's potential

import performance, however, doesn't even offer one on the top-of-the-line package.....

all in all, this reviewed kit seems a bit shady, but i guess the boards have come to that conclusion, based on where this thread is going....
