Don't know about the new plugs I got, Help please.
I ordered some new plugs from Mossy Nissan, and I asked for the PFR6B-11 plugs, the one's mentioned in the tech section. And then I got them today, but they're the PFR6G-11 plugs. I'm not sure if they'll work correctly in my little ga16, and I wanted to make sure before I put them in. Thanks.

I think they'll work... same temperature range.... do they look like the old ones?
I received the same when i ordered plugs. I have not put them in because have the same doubts about the correct application. Is there anyone here who can assure there will be no damage done by using these plugs? TIA
ive never gotten a different letter..but when i got my plugs from advance the gave me a pfr5 instead of 6. im sure no harm will come to your car. install them and see how she runs
Originally posted by Choopsticks Another question, how tight do I screw in the plugs?
Usually they should be hand tight then re-tightened 2/3 a turn. Or to be more spec. Tight to 14 to 28 Ft-Lbs.
They should screw-in pretty smooth.
Also it's a good practice to use an anti-seize compound on the threads so they dont get damaged.
To make some comparision, the Wheel lug nuts are usually tight to 70 or 80 Ft-Lbs.
Thanks everyone; I haven't touched the old plugs or anything yet, as I didn't want to eff anything up. But i'll get to it tomorrow sometime. I'm off to bed.
