This is messed up, we need more people that can program ECU's and Harness's. It's going to take 6 months for my ECU and Harness to get reprgrammed. Its out in Cali. and Im consider an Independt person which puts me on the bottom of the waiting list. So now I gotta wait for 6 months. COME ON!
Or JWT just needs some more programming staff. I bet they just sit around and play with Mike's car all day. Hell, I would too if I got a chance to watch his car run all the time.

send it to gforce in new jersey. se-r.net compared jim wolfe and gforce and found no major difference in their basic program. if you dont want to do that then go thru someone like andreas miko or jason young...you might get it quicker
It's laziness really. I know there are guys in the community that could figure this stuff out but they haven't done it. If I had the slightest idea that I could figure it out I'd give it a go. I don't know what the deal is. I mean, comparing a stock ECU to a JWT inside and out, you'd think a person could figure out really quick where the changes need to be made and what the settings need to be.

haha yeah right.... I hope you mean Mike Kojima, I have to wait just like you.. oh yeah they love what we've gotten from the 1.6, but come on they have some extremly high powered cars come through there..
Most the programming they do on project cars is done on the weekend on their own time and doesn't interfer with customer orders during the week. As far as I know it's always first come first serve on all customer orders. So putting you on the bottom of the list because you're an "independent" sounds ridiculous.
The ECU is extremly technical, you can't simply hire some guy off the street to do it... if it was easy don't you think other companies could match what JWT can do??? Others have tried and failed...
I know it sucks, but good things come to those who wait... plus if you guys knew about the quality control you'd understand... ever heard of a bad ecu from JWT????????? I haven't...
If you want to buy another brand of ECU, ask these questions.
Can you raise the rev limit?
Can you eliminate the speed limit?
Can you compensate for larger injectors across the entire operating range?
Can you compensate for a different MAF?
Do you use a Horiba A/F monitor?
Do you understand offsets? Do you know what invalid time is?
Can you program a OBD-II box?
If they cannot answer all of these questions then go to JWT and save yourself some aggravation.

First G-Force is no longer in business. Second they are now called Technosquare and they are in Torrance Ca and were never in New Jersey. Third, they are not as good as JWT on Nissan ECU's and don't have all of the address locations to do as many things. Last se-r.net did not compare them and find them to be the same. Read that part again.

You have no idea what you are talking about, even if you did not the address locations in the code, how many people even know how to manipulate it to make the car run better. Most people I see at dyno days adjust their AFC's, etc to make less power because of the hype they read on the net. I truely belive they are making more power until I turn the AFC back to stock and their cars make more power on the dyno. Then I turn the AFC the opposite way they had it and get more power. Most people are clueless on how to tune. Plus JWT's code is copywrited and has verification lines encrypted in it so they could easily prove that they were ripped off in court if someone pirated their code.
