I've tried searching the forums and didn't find a matching thread in the first 3 pages of searching so I hope nobody already answered a question like this
Basically, when I push in the clutch on my 1992 GA16 (it has 228k miles on it but that shouldn't really be too much of a problem) the revs dip down to wayyy low, probably around 200 rpm or so. The lights go dim for a second and it sounds like the engine is going to die but it actually brings itself back up to normal (about 800 rpm) idle speed a second later.
This has been happening for a while and it has never actually stalled out on me. Cleaning the throttle body seems to fix it but only for a few minutes.
Is this a common problem, and any suggestions on how I could go about diagnosing and fixing it?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
