She's ALIVE! Automatic to manual transmission swap is COMPLETE!
Finally, after over a year of hard work, my once automatic B13, is now a 5 speed manual. Don't let the "over 1 year" fool you. I did numerous other mods at the same time, and didn't work on it all the time.
The link in my signature has a list of all the required parts as well as recommended parts.
It is now known, that the automatic ECM WILL work, but you will get a check engine light. I am running the manual ECM, since I got it for so cheap. I would still recommend getting the manual ECM, as no check engine light, and my car seemed to run better w/ the manual ECM.
The biggest hurdle I ran into, but won't affect other's that perform the swap, is my wheels don't fit I upgraded to the SE-R front brakes at the same time, since I got them for cheap. I "assumed" the factory 13" wheels would clear the SE-R brakes, since I was told they were "slightly" bigger than the SE brakes. But the calipers are quite a bit bigger, and my wheels didn't fit. So I ordered some 15" wheels and tires from Discount Tire, but they won't be here for 4-5 weeks. Since I couldn't wait that long , I used my donut spare and bought another, to use on the front.
Here is a pic of how goofy it looks:

john, I am veturing into the realm of auto to manual swap on June 13th. I think I got all of the things and pictures from you in the past. Are you going to place all the pictures on the website of yours soon? I hope that you do. I am so glad that you were able to take the pics and help the ones out there. You should be comended for this and make a CD of the install. I would give you money for a burn of the install.

I would REALLY like to see this done on a B14. I've been wanting to do this since I purchased my car three years ago and this is the most documented swap I've seen so far, except it's for a B13. I'd like to know what's different and what's the same as far as required parts, because I'm going to be scrounging together parts soon to do this myself.

I ran into a few little snags, but all in all, it wasn't horribly difficult, just TIME CONSUMING!
What totally blew me away was the fact that it started right up after sitting for over a year and getting all this work done I figured I would be troubleshooting a while to get it started. Not to mention, I had a full tank of gas that I forgot to put stabilizer in
Barnoun: Yes, I started (the research phase) of my project when the B15sentra forums was just started. I am proud to say, I think that my hard work of research BEFORE I even turned one wrench, played a huge role in the success of the project w/ only a few snags. I only had 3 parts that I had to swap, that I didn't figure out before the swap started, and ended up having to run to the yard again looking for those 3 parts.
