I think Nissan1995 was referring to how he would go about reprogramming the ECU...I was wondering how such changes were done as well, so I thought I'd ask.
The gains from a bigger MAF alone would be minimal, almost certainly not worth spending the money on a new MAF and ECU programming.
The reason people usually upgrade their MAF is because they have maxed out their stock MAF. Meaning the stock MAF can no longer correctly measure the amount of air coming in. To do this would take a turbo or an engine with a LOT of work put into it.

When I did the ECU, I had JWT program a 1995 MAF to work on my car, didn't charge me anything more. I did not know the difference, but I got it with my SR20 TB, so I switched it anyway. I should have gone to a MAxima MAF its 3" plastic.

The B14 GA cars have a 3" plastic MAF. It MAY be the same wiring harness configuration for the B13 GA cars I have never checked. The other thing is that you will not gain anything from the SE-R TB as it may/may not be bigger. But at the bolt on stage it is not a bottleneck yet. You have to get waaay into mods. before that's an issue. SPend your time money elsewhere and you will get better results.
