wes - You're very right. In most cases, if I break something on my car that can easily be fixed with an aftermarket piece, usually that is what I do. But in his case, yes it is "broken", but if he intends to put money into an entirely different car, with much more potential...lets be realistic here...I would much rather do that. I know a kid that bought an '89 240 Coupe, runs fine, for $500. Hell, if I would've ran across that, I definately would've bought it! My point is, since he is not planning on doing anything else with his Sentra, I would definately put my money towards another car with plans already ahead.
Monty - Good luck with your 240 man. I'm sure it'll look good and be quick. I don't know if you search any 240 forums, but a very good one is Zilvia.net. I almost bought a '96 SE w/ 38k on it. It was a friend of my parents, so I researched up and down my ass to look for things to check, double-check, and make sure it was running fine. Turns out insurance was too high for a 16 yr. old and it fell through. But I've definately learned the Zilvia.net is one of the best forums to check out for 240's. Good luck again.
