squeal Noise

OK, hear is the problem. About 4 months ago I stared to hear this slight noise. A squeal from the font pasenger side of the car. It got worse and worse. SO I got my brakes redone, new master cylinder (mine was going for some reason anyways, tried bleeding and all the other crap. New MC fixed it) I also had all new belts put in and have not pushed the car at all sice all the new stuff was put in. Well 4 days after all repairs were done, noise came back. same darn noise. It almost sounds like a light metalic noise. But at the same time it sounded as if it was the belts again. I went back they retighted everything. Still same crap. They then put all new belts in at there coast. still same thing. I have searched for hours, tried a few of the things I found, but no positive resaults. The noise only comes after I have been driving at operating temp for 10 or so more min. As I slow to a stop, around 1300 RPM it stops. I tried going down the high way, and poped it into N and while I was coasting, same noise. even after the rpms went to Idle rate. They took a look at the bearings and stuff like that, they said they wear all good from there opinion. ( I trust this shop, my family has been going to them for 13 years, they know us well)

After all this, and no results, I wanted to see what my fellow nissan enthusiast had to say. And before anyone gets mad, I already stated I did lots of searching.

Im hoping someone can help me from there own simlar problems, or give me a way of systematicly testing thing.

Any help is appreciated.

my car makes a metallic like grinding sound when i slow to a stop sometimes but its not a problem. maybe you are having the same problem with the belts as me. i went and got a factory nissan belt bc the one that i put on there 2 months or so ago was already squealing. i put the nissan belt on and its even worse. problem is i just cant tighten it as much as i need to. so i went and bought a 43.3" belt and am gonna put it on today or tomorrow. think that could be your problem?

Well I cheaked the brakes, and the sheild. I wasnt that. It not only when Im breaking either. Only if it could haven been that simple. Thanks for the ideas though. Katana, if you have any luck please let me know. If its the belts, since Iv had it recently done, I know my shop will redo the belts one more time at there coast, if I have some good evidence that a diffrent sized belt could fix the problem. I may have to pay for the belt thats about it.

All the help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Phyro

check to see if the A/C compressor is bad or the A/C compressor bearing. You said they checked all the bearings? did they check all of them off when they had the belts off? Sounds like something the belt rides on. Could be a belt tensioner pulley, Altenator, Water pump, or the A/C compressor. Usually from my experience it has been the water pump. Tell them to check again.

My Stang ran a 14.4 @97 in the quarter. I cant remember what it does in the 1/8. That was my first time ever at the track and not with the mods listed below. I could hit high 13's, but this with cheap cooper tires that i was running.

The Systemmax is one if not the best packages out there. I got more mods coming soon, but for know, Cobra 13" brakes and a panhard rod is what i am doing as we speak.

I forgot to mention. While the car is running, look at the pulleys. Does any of them wobble a little excessively?

If the pulley wobbled enough to notice with the naked eye the thing would throw belts...

you know, i have a sqeek. mine squeeks when i go over bumps and seems to come from the glove box area, but the sqeek started right after removing the seats, center consol and head liner so check all your interior trim pieces and let me know what it is if u find it.
