dual exhaust, different tq curve?

I heard that when you Y pipe the exhaust and make it dual exhaust on a GA16DE it gives you a different torque curve. I wan't to know exactly how does it change the torque curve as in most of the torque is at the bottom end (I hope) most of it midrange or most of it higher up in the powerband.

the only thing with doing dual exhaust you have to make sure that your fuel breather if you have one doesn't pose a problem. i know on my 98 200sx, it is a problem and sometimes you have to have it relocated if possible.

i dont really know how much it will affect the curve, i haven't done it on mine because the breather. im sorry i didn't answer the question but by adding more pipe you are gonna lose some torque especially since it is a small engine. i dont know exactly how much though
