Wait... you took an air box completely out and installed a cone air fileter at the end of MAF sensor (black box)? How did you connect filter with MAF?

Anyways.. what most likely happend is you plugged out an air temp sensor... The sensor it self is probably still embeded with the airbox, but you just disconnected wires to it.. If thats the case then pick out that sensor from airbox casing and plug it in... If that's not it check that the wires are connected to that MAF sensor...

That's all I can think of

When you took off the stock airbox, did you remove the black horn shape thing next to the battery tray. There is a sensor connected to it. You have to either leave it in the horn or put it somewhere next to the filter.

And dont worry about the light. When I changed my intake, the light came on but it turned off about 3 weeks after the install. Just give it some time. Or you can go to the site that XtremE posted if you want to know the exact problem.

I am betting it's the temp sensor. there is a small sensor going into that horn (right behind the headlight. you must leave the sensor plugged in and just zip tie the sensor out of the way
