97 gxe auto...where do i fill the transmission fluid?

Well, i have a tranny leak. While driving to Daytona the other day i heard a loud scraping noise comming from under my car, my girl swore that it wasn't my car making the noise, but i know it was. Anyways, all the fluid is gone out of my auto transmission...can somebody please tell me where to fill the transmission with fluid? I did a rough search and read the owners manual with no luck.

Also, do i absoutely need to use Nissan "D" matic transmission fluid, or will something else do just fine?

you fill it up where the stick goes... just get a small funnel...
I think you can use dextron 3 (I think thats the type)
Just ask you local autopart store they will know...

Alright thanks, thats what i suspected since i couldnt locate a plug for the tranny anywhere.

Anyone know how costly it gets to fix a broken seal?
