Question help a.s.a.p

ok so i did a search and didnt find the answer im looking for...my heat shield was rattling so i removed it....now is this going to be a problem with it missing ? im pretty sure it wont but im just going to make sure...there is nothing touching the cat... which is located right infront of the engine block...(i think its called a close cupold sp? cat ) anyway just want to make sure its not going to have any problems

well depends if you engine bay is dirty as hell like mine it makes it look better haha but my heat shield was all rusty and had shit all over it...but if yours is clean and you heat shield is in good condition then i would just leave it...and thanks for the help btw...and that rattling didnt stop its coming from some other heat shield under the car grrrrrrrr ill to rip that one off too

i removed mine and it quieter and I have not experiencied any problems

i ripped all my heat shields off due to rattle... makes not difference except rattle is gone.. the other one you are referring to is probably near the header

it makes a difference once it gets hotter weather and ur stuck in traffic. last summer was horrible at the street races. car is a lil bit hotter inside. but hell....i took all my heatshields off to try to solve my rattling problem and it didnt help....but im surely not gonna put them all back on
