would a jdm ga16de intake manifold do anything on a usdm engine? would it raise compression, anyting? would it be better to port out the origianl intake manifold or the jdm one?

I would do nothing. They're probably the same minus some emissions equipment.

if the runners are different length it can move you pwerband a little. shorter for more topend and longer for more low end. in japan it is a ga15 1.5 liter
