Parts for battery relocation

Hi there,

I don't really want to spend the money to buy a relocation kit. I wanted to know what comes with the kit. I saw some parts at wal-mart that I think will do the job.

if you want to trust wallmarts low quality wires and shit.. i never go to walmart, they sell junk.. anyways, you need a positive wire sent to the trunk.. so probably 20 ft? a battery box, a ground wire to connect to the rear body frame... battery terminal connectors...

the only part from walmart i would buy is the battery box. its not a sealed box, but a vented unit. it only cost $7.00 and comes with mounting hardware. i used 4 gauge car audion power cable....if i did it again, i would use the bigger size such as 2gauge or 1/0.

u will need to connect the 4 gauge and 8 gauge wire from the starter and fuse box to the battery somehow. i used a car audio distribution block. it works well. and yes, u need to ground the front frame to the rear for a good ground.
