Ok so i dont really wanna waste money on an engine that doesnt have much potential so im thinking of swapping for the SR20DET, does anybody know wherei can get this, i keep going on ebay but all they got is silvia engines which are awd if im not mistaking. soo somebody let me know where i can find one .
sooo..ive heard theres a better engine that'll fit my car that puts out 250hp...now one of my friends told me this.. he havent told me what engine is it....any ideas????

An SR swap can run 3000 -5000
A NEO VVL is another 2000 -3000 I would guess.
A 3.5 L VQ you would have to research, but 10,000 up would be my guess because of all the one off fabrication.

you would need e nissan sEr transmision,and the gearbox and everything,it is a huge transformation,but if you got the money and the patience go for it, cuz me myself i was going to do e sr20 silvertop swap but it costs way to much for me here in Aruba,so im goin to turbo the ga16 instead,cuz they can achieve 200hp safely and streetdrivin
If you want to just throw money into your 200SX, buy a '95-'98 200SX SE-R donor car and swap everything over. Or, you could just get a turbo kit for the GA16DE (under $1500), and run the car like that. The GA-series takes turbos very easily, and are very reliable. Don't waste your money on an SR20DET that is no guarantee to be in good shape and then spend all the time and effort to fit it in your car.
