another stupid ?

ok i know my clutch is gettin to the point of being gone ! and i havent ever caught a second gear spin ? i was wondering how many of u burn second ? i have a b13 ga16de 5 speed.. straight pipe from down pipe... intake and thats it.. and im rollin 16'' motegi wheels with pretty small tires and answers are welcomed thanx guys

The little GA16 isin't exactly going to spin heavy 16" wheels like that. I don't know why you'd want to anyhow since spinning the tires doesn't help you accelerate faster, or impress high school girls.

ok i no it doesnt inpress high school girls wich im married ! for 1 and i do also no it doesnt make u accel faster.... i juss wanted to know how many of u guys have spun in second gear ???

i can never recall my friend doing it when he still had his GA in. don't do it anyways, its bad for the synchros.

I personally have never spun second gear, even with a turbo. Last time I checked you want your car to hook up, and spinning tires is only good in a burn-out box. It is funny, since my car has much more horsepower than my friend's Civic, but he can spin 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear without any trouble on a stock engine.

oh! thats easy!

1. move to buffalo, ny in winter....
2. become lazy to the point that u nvr put snow tires on ur car.
3.spin freely in 2nd on ur way up or down the gears!

of course it doesnt do it on its own...shifting a little sooner than normal= no slippage
shifting like normal=slip, slip.
