ok hears the deal i got 3,000 to spend on wut ever i wanna ! my car is about to roll over 250,000 miles and yes all the drive train is stock still ... i dont wanna do the sr20 swap either ... if i would wanna do the ser wut motor is that ?? and where can i find one... any answers are welcome ..............

250,000 miles = rebuild. Or, you could take the $3k and spend it on a newer car, like a B13 ('91-'94) Sentra SE-R or a B14 ('95-'98) 200SX SE-R if you want an SR20DE. You could also buy a running GA16DE from a reputable engine dealer, and just drop it in your car in place of the high mileage one. You can get an engine with around 30,000 miles on it for between $150 - $300 (depending on where you live and availability). I personally got a '99 GA16DE with less than 30,000 miles for about $200, but I had to go and pick it up about 1 1/2 hour away.
