Hey, I just signed up on this site. I just got a 96 Sentra GLE with the 1.6 in it. I had bought some GlowShift gauges(tinted series) for my old Ford Ranger, but I wanna put em in my Sentra instead. I got an air/fuel with a digital voltmeter in the middle of it, a vacuum pressure gauge and a fuel pressure guage. I know how to install the air/fuel and the vacuum but I guess I'm jus a lil retarded when it comes to fuel pressure guage. It came with a sending unit that has the electric connectors and threaded inlet valve on it, I just don't know where or how to hook it up or if I need a coupling or something in order to make it work. Anyone have any idea how to do it? Appreciate the help.
if it was a mechanical gauge all you would need is to T-off the fuel line before the fuel filter. i'm sure it's not that much different for the electrical one.

Instead of using a pressure guage, put on your pressure transducer. Originally there is a metal piece of tubing bent in a 90. A pressure reading AFTER the fuel filter would tell you more. The fuel filter is just below this and would read low if the filter was restricted.
Hey thanks for the help but I think I fingered it out. The gauge I bought was 2 1/16 TINTED FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE PSI - eBay (item 260190233219 end time Feb-02-08 12:05:37 PST)
and I found this to connect the sender unit...... eBay Motors: Hose adaptor 3/8 in fuel press gauge fitting (item 120208160124 end time Jan-15-08 16:21:05 PST)
this should be it. Thanks for the help though, I'll come back on a let you know how it works out for me when i get off my lazy a** and put it all in. I'm still looking for a pod for the gauges I have 3 of the tinted glowshift series. I know I should probably just make a new thread for this but has anyone tried those 10mm triple core aftermarket spark plug wires they sell on ebay? Also, any suggestions on a good sounding muffler, I'm not looking for that high pitched civic sound, something deeper and cleaner, plus my Sentra's an automatic anyway.
damn bud...i didn't think to offer you my fitting i'm not gonna use. stay away from the "ebay" wires. the stock wires work very well. if you want something aftermarket just go with the ngk's. a good sounding muffler would be from magnaflow...that's what i had on my car.
Yea, I figured that the wires would be a bad call, my brother had probs with aftermarket wires on his jeep. I'm still looking for a muffler tho, not looking to spend too much on it. I should be hooking up the gauges and i'll take some pics and put em up. still havent decided on where to put the gauges tho. I can't find any pillar pods for a 96 so im gonna have to get creative. thanks for the heads up and the offer on the adapter.
alot of people make a custon plate and put the gauges where the pocket is below the radio. i got my pillar pod back when sr20development was around. if you want one of those, i would go to www.sr20-forum.com and post a wanted ad. i'm sure someone has one.
