Hi Guyz-
I'm new to the forum an have a question maybe yall can help.
Recently my 90 Sentra got rear ended and totaled. The engine and tranny still work perfectly.
Today, I ran across a 89 (manufactured 8-88) 2 door Sentra with a bad engine. Was wondering if the engine in my 90 (manufactured 12-89) will fit right in the 88 without changing anything? Mine is a 4 door, the other is a 2 door. Both have 5 speed trannys. Just a quick look at the engine compartments and they look identical. My 90 is FI and I think the 88 is. Can anyone help me. i don't want to buy the 88 if my engine will not work???

BTW- I may have posted in the wrong forum. On the inside of the door on the plate "Engine' is GA 16I.
Both engines are 12 valves.
Will all the electrical plugs hook up also?

Ian- Kewl, Thanks! From what I read 8-87 to 6-90 has this same engine. GREAT!!
