mount removal

I'm having trouble removing the rear torque mount on my 95 B14. How do you remove it? I already have the bolt running through the center of the mount out, but I can't get anything else done. I can feel two other bolts that hold the metal of the mount to the frame, but I can't get to them. To make matters worse, there is a 2 or 3 inch bar about the mount in my way. So even if I can get those other bolts loosened, I dont think I could move the mount. What is the trick here? This is my last torque mount to replace with the ES inserts. TIA!

OK I just found out how to do this. The guys on the mailing list suggested I take that beam off the car to remove it. So I'm gonna give that a try tomorrow afternoon. Well atleast this will be archived for the next person to do this mod.

If you take the beam out make sure you have a jack under there to support the motor/trans. It's a good idea to take the cross bar out because then you can do the front and rear mount at the same time.

Ya I've had it supported. I had to for the front mount so that the holes would line up right. I wish I would have thought to remove the beam for the front mount though....
