ES motor mount inserts.... stuck

Well I got my ES mount inserts. I got one of the mounts off (finally), but now I am stuck. How the heck do I get the old rubber out of the mount? That is supposed to pop out right? If not, then these are bum mount inserts. I doubt that though. I have a feeling I'm looking at the problem from the wrong angle. Has anyone done this mod? I really need some insight into this. I have the mount out of the car, so I can't use my car until I figure this out. Pictures of everything are on the way, I have to get Photoshop installed before I can resize them properly. TIA!

I've been talking with the owner of www.importspartsplus.com As it turns out, the mount (passenger side mount) is a hard to find mount, that does not come in the insert package. The mounts I bought are part number 7.1105G. The part I have having trouble with is 7.1106. 7.1105 only does the front and rear mounts that connect to the double-barrel beam running underneath the motor. I guess this will clear up some confusion about the ES mount inserts.

What do you mean about the mount being hard to get? The passenger side old mount has to be pressed out and the new one pressed in.

Not the one on the passengerside. Atleast I can't get it to budge. I'll find out for sure tomorrow evening when I crawl back under the car. Check out my pics of the old mount, and you will see what I mean. http://photos.yahoo.com/dono200sx/

EDIT: Looking at the mount, it looks like the old rubber has bonded to the metal on the mount. I don't see how it could be possibly be pushed out. I'm told that the ES part 7.1106 is hard to locate.

First off as William stated you do not have ES inserts for that particular mount.

Next it has to be pressed out on a bushing press. The metal ring that goes around the outside is part of the mount, that is what is pressed out. The only other option is to cut out the ruber, use a hack saw to cut threw the metal ring, then punch it out once you have cut through the ring and releived the tension.

My advice, leave that mount alone unless it;s torn. Then install the ES inserts on the crossmember mounts. FWIW the front mounts completely replace the OEM mounts using the OEM dog bone. The rear mount sinsert around the OEM mount. Use plenty of grease to install the rear mount back in to the car.

I have that one ordered. It's ripped.

Found that out tonite. If you need a way to relieve stress, this is a sure fire way to do that. I can already feel a difference in the torque with just the one (front) mount done. When it stops raining I'm gonna replace the rear. Thanks for the help!
