Your supposed to burn them out. Put a torch (even a little propane one) on the bushing till it remains lit on it's own. Let it burn till it goes out. The remainder will fall right out. It doesn't get hot enough to cause damage so don't worry about that. Same steps are done on any pressed in bushings, i.e. control arm, sway bar, etc. Bearing grease is great for lubing these bushings, btw.

You're sorta right but not really. Cause you still have to press or cut the medal ring on the inside out. That cannot be burned out.
Now, the rubber yeah that can be burned out. But i do not suggest that.
AWESOME I got them to I chewed most of the ruber off burnt the rest and my dad have a press machine at work so he did the rest one thing I did not make sure was that the cross mem (i call it hte skid bar :P ) the rear motor mount gose in one way and since I did not pay attention i striped the threads trying to tighten it got it rethreaded next size up yea extra vibrations not surprise.
