Exclamation Alternator Guidance
ok so iam getting ready to replace my alternator on my 93 Nissan sentra so i go to advanced auto parts and get one and then i notice at home that this one has a condensor but my old one didnt so i was wondering if it would still work on my car also i kinda forgot where the other wire hooks up to on the alternator i think its a ground wire or something i will try to post picks after this post and thanks in advanced for any opinions!!

lol well too late i already hooked up and wow it worked perfectly so yeah thanks!! if anybody else knows what that condensor might be for please tell!!

well i found out what it was for... its actually to suppress the static the alternator causes when the radio is on... so umm yeah lol

Its an old fashioned name for a capacitor, and commonly used for noise suppression ?
