My first guess is electronic ignition controller unit. Customers tell me pretty often that car stalls after a while of driving or wont start when being warm or won't start at all (and doesn't either give a spark). So there's a good change that you find your fault from ignition controller.
You can try to determine whether a spark comes to an engine or not when it does this stalling thing. It's easy, just unplug one ignition wire from then engine and attach an old plug to it and see what happens. If spark is totally gone it's pretty propable that ignition controller is broken.
