250-300bhp on a GA16DE...ive never seen one. it is possible if u have the $$$ and the time to frequently overhaul the engine but at that point it would cost way more than a turbo setup for the same bhp.
100hp/L has been done...b16 and even more hp/L with the s2000 engine

i think people just got used to saying NOS when they mean "n2o" or "nitrous oxide" ,. so people just forgot that NOS was a brand

i heard that a sr20ve with mods got over 220whp which is pretty damn good. Heres a test for everyone.... what is the most powerful 4 cly. non turbo and non NOS engine every recorded.. i think it might be a b18 but we'll find out.
I think the GA is capable of 150-180 horses, i think if you put enough money into the car you can get it running that high. I have not seen this motor get that high, but anything is possible.
well i think the all motor opinions are established but what about you guys with turbo, what do you see the GA achieving in the long run or your goals...mike young wont give us numbers but i dont blame him, its a surprise for us. Javier, what are your hp goals? and Gator, you too, reason being i plan on a turbo in the next year
my aiming for 200whp on a stock GA16DE.....it should be a walk in the park for my turbo after that, work on a built engine, new fuel rail with top feeds, and a larger turbo, ecu, etc....who knows what it'll make.
my Hp goals are in the same ballpark ...200-240 WHP. the injectors/turbo/exhaust/intercooler have been chosen accordingly. the only question is if my engine internals will be up to the task. boost is a beautiful thing, my friends 1.6L crx put down 340whp!
