Ok, went to the junkyard, got 2 MAF sensors, they looked bad on the outside but good on the inside... hooked them up.. car still didn't want to start, checked all the wires everything was good... still getting a code 12, is it possible that they are both bad too? I've gone through 3 different MAFs here still no luck... anyone know a good way to test them? I know that it's gettin' power... But the thing won't start so I can't test the other wires... do you guys think its something else... a new MAF is 190 beans... yikes... any ideas?

do this, go get a brand new MAF, brand spanking new, and test it out, and if it works, return it and try to find another cheaper working one, and if it doesnt work, then u know for sure that its not your MAF

Auto part stores don't often return anything electrical parts, Check your wireing going to the MAF.
Generally if all the packaging is there, and there is no visible damage to the parts, they don't have a problem taking them back. I've returned electronic parts, motor mounts, you name it. Just make sure you don't scratch the MAF any when you install it.
