i seem to have oil coming out in this area. i dont think it is the oil filter. but i have heard that the OPS cant go bad and that the only reason it would leak is because it needs some more thread sealer on it. anybody know if there is any truth behind this? anybody ever done this?

That would be your oil pressure switch sensor for your "dummy" light. They cost around $12. It's a common place to leak oil on SR20's too. You have to get it at a dealer. No parts store would carry it.

this is from an older thread. I have the same leak, so I'll be trying this soon.
